This beautiful sword was carried by Napoleon at the Battle of Austerlitz in 1805, and was afterwards his favourite sword and lucky charm. Napoleon’s victory over the Austrian and Russian armies at Austerlitz gave France mastery of Europe, until Waterloo finally ended his dominance.

Picturae Works Together with British Army Museum

The National Army Museum in the United Kingdom and Picturae are working together to digitise, enrich and publish a part of the museum’s collection. A part of the project was performed on location at the museum depot. Picturae is very proud to work together with the National Army Museum.
