Francis Hodgson

Francis Hodgson is a influential British photography critic. The Financial Times publishes his reviews. In the past he sometimes had jobs with an emphasis on his broad knowledge of photography and sometimes more focused on his commercial skills.

Hodgson has been head of the photography department at Sotheby’s in Londen and manager of the print room at the Photographers’ Gallery. He advises on many aspects of collections (public and private). He also helps photographers to market their work and acts as a consultant to various image-centred businesses such as stock libraries.
