Portrait photo studio Picturae’s Paris Photo nominated for Dutch photo contest

The jury of the Zilveren Camera, a renowed yearly Dutch photo contest, has announced the nominations for the Dutch photo price 2012. Photographer Robin de Puy is nominated with a portrait which was made during the photo studio of Picturae's Paris Photo in Institut Néerlandais.

De Puy is an extraordinary photographer. In the Netherlands her photos are an upcoming success. Her pictures regularly appear in newspapers and magazines. Her portraits are a little bit over the top because of her flash technique. With it,  De Puy creates a special kind of beauty which makes her portraits astonishing.

De Puy is nominated for the Zilveren Camera 2012 in the category Portaits. The nominated portrait shows photographer Martin Colombet during Picturea’s Paris Photo. He, and 33 other portraits, were made during the second day of the event in a photo studio at Institut Néerlandais.

Except the nomination in the category Portraits, De Puy was also nominated in the category National Portrait Price. On Sunday 20 January the jury will the winner of the contest. The other nominations are to be found on the website of the Zilveren Camera, a website that Picturae has made.
