Big milestone in Florence!
1 Million scans in 4 months!
Celebrate this milestone in Florence with us! The digitization team reached the digitization of 1 million specimens and folders since the start of this herbarium digitization project at the beginning of March this year! We blew 1 million (almost…) pink candles together at the Botanical Garden of the University of Florence and the University of Padua to celebrate this milestone together.
The project of NBFC (National Biodiversity Future Center), funded by the European Union within the Italian PNRR, oversees the collaboration of the University of Florence and the University of Padova.
