For rare and fragile bound materials that cannot be opened flat, we developed a V-shaped book cradle. The angled support allows books to rest naturally without stress on the spine or binding. This solution enables the digitization of historically significant and delicate materials while prioritizing preservation. The books that we have been privileged to work with are sometimes very old and fragile, and cannot be digitized using a regular system setup.

Our XL digitization table is designed for oversized and unbound materials requiring high-resolution reproduction. This system accommodates large capture surfaces and supports image stitching where required. It enables the digitization of: maps and posters, architectural drawings, paintings, artworks, watercolors, etchings and lithographs. The structured setup ensures accuracy, alignment and color fidelity across large formats.

Our transmissive digitization system combines high-resolution digital camera technology with custom LED lighting units designed for uniform illumination and color accuracy. The system can be adapted with interchangeable capture masks to accommodate different transmissive formats, ensuring: careful handling, variable resolution depending on collection needs and consistent and preservation-grade imaging. This solution supports the digitization of negatives, slides and other transmissive materials within a controlled technical environment.
